Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6 amβ11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (217) 607-2144. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 119 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded specialty food stores in Champaign.

Bought chicharonnes. They used to be $4 99lb, then $6 99lb, now $8 99 lb...which is it? Young cashier tried to ring a Red Bull drink onto the order, but husband caught it! He only had 1 item to purchase! Watch what you are getting charged seems shady!

This is the closest grocery to my house, and itβs one of my favorites in town! Definitely worth a stop to support someplace that isnβt just a big box store, and it has many of the spices and produce items that I need on a weekly basis.

Great little store. They seem to have everything you need. I came through the other day to get some ingredients for Al pastor at home. I also picked up some tamales in the parking lot. I will definitely be back. They have a good selection of meats and any dried peppers you could want are in the produce section.

Excellent assortment of products. They have a small produce section with a variety of vegetables including plantains, nopal, and more. Seafood and meat also available. Several types of refrescos including Inka Cola!! Located in a very strategic corner on Prospect Ave. Parking lot is big enough, never crowded.
